About the Role

The role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to be an integral part of the expanding VFX team. We are looking for a person with experience as a media operator, that effortlessly understands the end-to-end workflow and will add to our culture.

Working closely with Flame artists, colourists and editors, the media operator will manage all aspects of a media within the company, to ensure a smooth workflow for each project. This is a dynamic role that requires someone with a strong level of hands on experience, attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.

Responsibilities:
– Managing all media that comes in and out the building
– Assist all artists in managing their project workflows and media
– Liaise with producers on when jobs are starting and completing
– Archive jobs to tapes
– Take full responsibility for knowing where all jobs, media and hard drives are located at all times
– Be proactive and problem solve to ensure all projects stay on track
– Conforming for grade in Resolve
– Allocating drives for shoots and tracking their location
– Coming up with new ideas to improve our pipeline

Skills and Experience:
– Experience in the Film and Television industry will be advantageous
– Extensive understanding of VFX and post-production workflows will be advantageous
– Knowledge in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, Avid and Flame will be advantageous
– Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
– Ability to operate autonomously with a strong sense of personal responsibility
– Highly energetic and people orientated to add to our culture
– Strong sense of passion in the industry
